Well, 2020 can fuck off. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. Okay, if I have to be honest, my 2020 could have been a lot worse. A lot worse. In some very big ways, I am incredible lucky.

So, last year my film of the year was Ari Aster’s debut Hereditary. This year I’ve chosen his follow up. I think I might be a bit of a fan.

I didn’t get to read many books this year. But even if I’d had a large pool of books to select from, I can’t imagine another one pulling me in as deeply as The Night Circus.

2020, and things that are to come

So here we are in the roaring twenties. What are we expecting in the next twelve months?
